Monrovia, Liberia — August 12, 2026 — BENDIS Technologies (BETECH), the local implementing partner of the BENDIS Project in Liberia, welcomed an assessment team from the Liberia Ministry of Education on August 12, 2026, at its headquarters in Monrovia, Liberia.
The successful visit assessed BETECH’s programs, organizational capacity, and operational readiness as part of the process toward obtaining sectoral clearance from the Ministry of Education. The assessment marks an important milestone in BETECH’s readiness to expand computer literacy and digital education programs to schools and communities across Liberia.
The visit also highlighted preparations for the upcoming BENDIS Project pilot deployment, led by Destiny Hands International (DHI). The pilot will integrate Dragon Q Energy’s PowerPole renewable-energy solution with Destiny Hands International’s SendBox to provide access to computer literacy, digital learning, and educational resources. Unite to Light will further support the initiative through the provision of 2,000 solar-powered reading lights for students across Liberia.
