Destiny Hands International was born from a desire to give back, serve others, and create opportunities for people who need them most. What began as a burden to help communities has grown into a mission to bring light, learning, technology, and hope to underserved areas.
Years ago, a simple gift of one dollar opened the door to computer literacy and changed a life forever. Today, Destiny Hands is paying that one dollar forward through programs that equip students, teachers, churches, and communities.
Benjamin Kettor
Benjamin Kettor is the founder of Destiny Hands International and a passionate advocate for education, technology access, humanitarian service, and community empowerment.
Originally from Liberia, Benjamin experienced firsthand the challenges of displacement, limited educational resources, and lack of access to technology during the civil war years. A simple opportunity to learn computer skills through a one-dollar sponsorship became a turning point that transformed his future.
Today, through Destiny Hands International and the BENDIS Project, he is committed to “paying that one dollar forward” by helping students, teachers, churches, and underserved communities gain access to digital learning, solar-powered education tools, leadership training, and sustainable opportunities.
His vision continues to inspire partnerships that bring light, learning, and hope to communities across Liberia and beyond.
