Partnerships Create Impact: Destiny Hands International and Partners Support Schoolchildren Through “Backpacks with Blessings” Program in Mexico

TIJUANA, MEXICO – August 17, 2024 — “Coming together is a beginning; staying together is progress; and working together is success.” This spirit of partnership and collaboration was on full display as Destiny Hands International Inc., alongside valued partners including the Rotary EClub of San Diego, participated in the “Backpacks with Blessings” program to support schoolchildren in Mexico as they prepared for the 2024–2025 academic year.

The outreach initiative focused on providing support to children and families by helping equip students with resources needed for school success, reinforcing the shared belief that education creates pathways to opportunity and brighter futures.

A special highlight of the event was the participation of Consul General Christopher Teal, Principal Officer for the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana, Mexico, whose presence underscored the importance of community partnerships and collaborative efforts to uplift children and families.

Mr. Benjamin Kettor, Founder of Destiny Hands International expressed appreciation for Consul General Teal’s willingness to join the effort and partner in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

Kettor also extended gratitude to the Binational Committee United for Children, recognized as a key local partner whose collaboration and community leadership helped make the initiative possible.

Equally important to the success of the program were the generous donors and supporters whose contributions continue to help Destiny Hands International expand its impact and serve communities in need.

“Every act of kindness matters,” organizers shared. “When you help one person, you may not change the whole world—but you could change the world for that one person.”

The “Backpacks with Blessings” initiative reflects Destiny Hands International’s ongoing mission to strengthen communities through compassion, education, partnership, and service.
